Born in 1998, cult figure from the Canadian wilds, Winnipeg, Canada.
Useless but very much in demand as a souvenir – the Plastic Buddha was Craig Alun Smith’s first project and is the mascot of the design firm founded by him and Tara Walmer, which includes fun boy Jeff Garcia and Michael Erdmann as partners. Today, in matters of design, their star shines all the more brightly in the darkness of the surrounding Canadian forests – from their base they conquer the world with their projects and own collections.
The designers at Plastic Buddha stage a milk party in contemporary style on their milk glass – celebrating a wider range of colours than milk white: more colour and great taste.
